Mediphone is the brainchild of an Edmonton Family Physician, who identified a care gap during the covid-19 pandemic.  With patients self isolating and medical clinics operating at reduced capacity, many patients without a Family Physician, or those in under serviced areas are left with few choices for medical care.

In an effort to help alleviate the burden on the 811 system, to educate, reassure and care for Albertans, Mediphone was born.

We are staffed by 4 Family Physicians from Edmonton.  We each have our own clinics and our own patient panels.  During these challenging times, we are offering our telemedicine services to all Albertans.
